Experienced Maintenance Mechanic is needed to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all shop equipment plus perform general facilities maintenance. Applicant must be able to work independently and problem solve in our high production work environment, while prioritizing multiple mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks.
Various competencies needed for this position include: Mechanical and Electrical Systems, PLC/Instrumentation, basic Pneumatic and Hydraulic, Machining, Welding, and Plumbing.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot 3ph electrical systems, PLC’s and instrumentation, mechanical systems on all shop equipment with minimal guidance
- Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment as needed
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery including painting
- Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on deburring, shot blaster, and aqueous wash equipment
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM’s)
- Move and rewire machines
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Light welding fabrication and machining
- Water and air plumbing install and/or repair
- Facilities Management/Building Maintenance as required
- Effectively communicate with Operators, Supervisors, and all levels of Management daily
- Provide enthusiastic support where needed and complete other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
- Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements related to supporting machinery uptime
